Bass Pro Fishing World is arguably the most immersive fishing simulator ever created. Set across stunning open-world environments modelled on real Australian waterways — including Lake Eildon in Victoria and the Murray River — this game delivers an unparalleled level of realism. The water physics engine is second to none, with currents, tides, and weather systems that directly affect fish behaviour.

The species variety is remarkable: over 80 fish species are modelled with unique AI behaviours, feeding patterns, and seasonal migrations. Catching a Murray Cod at dawn after reading the conditions correctly is genuinely satisfying. The gear system is deep but approachable, with hundreds of rods, reels, lures, and lines to experiment with.
